I can run RetroArch smoothly on my Raspberry Pi (thanks RetroPie fellows!), on my Android, on my Linux x86 box, and I have friends running it on their Windows and Nintendo Wii (just to name a few platforms it can run). Then I am immensely grateful to the guys who made/maintain RetroArch and made it available for free. Find the hotkey configuration menu and delete the hotkeys you dont want. This should open up the Dolphin UI rather than booting a game. Go to desktop mode, and open Dolphin from the start menu. But unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to develop my own frontend. The start + select quit is a hotkey combo that is set within the emulator, and can be disabled. This is not smooth at tall :D Ideally youd want to close both game and emulator at once and immediately, then taken back to Dig menu. Itll take you to DIG right at the game select screen. I would make a frontend with a focus on User Experience, exposing only the options that matter, taking advantage of all the numerous studies made on User Interface subject. Itll open retroarch menu, hit close content, then press B and hit close retroarch. after is set go back to Main Menu and 'save current config' to keep the setting. You can then set it to L1+R1+Start+Select or other setting. Then I suppose they want to make RetroArch able to show the libretro API capabilities. to set this feature it is: Settings, Input, Menu Toggle Gamepad Combo. The official description of RetroArch says "RetroArch is the official reference frontend for the libretro API". RGUI is just a list of settings, all organized in hard-to-remember areas, all with blurry text, made, for free, by a bunch of guys in their spare time just for the love for retrogaming with no money involved. 2 Showing 1 - 2 of 2 comments Per page: 15 30 50 RetroArch > General Discussions > Topic Details Clicking ESC twice closes the emulator. From there you can add a key or key combo to just close the game you're playing and keep Retroarch open. I agree with you both, and I would like to complement: 1 Fili 10:14am In your Retroarch settings within Input, there's 'hotkeys'.
